As a master of connecting people with mission-driven business ventures and purposeful nonprofit organizations, he has guided thousands of clients through uniquely creative fundraising, marketing, and social media campaigns.
Having raised over $200 million for philanthropic institutions around the world, Israel has dedicated his life and career to promoting projects and people that spark meaningful and lasting change.
Carly Tal

As VP of Operations at CharityBids, Carly manages everything from Accounting to Charity Onboarding to Partner Relations, all while overseeing both internal and client-facing operations.
Carly enjoys spending time with family, flooding her pets with affection, and burying herself in books. As a Type-1 Diabetic, she has served as an ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and has raised over $150,000 for diabetes research with her family. Carly was also involved in The Yellow Rose Project, a prom for Holocaust survivors who never had the chance to experience this life milestone.
Shannon Kavluk

Shannon is a force when it comes to hospitality management, relationship-building, and project management. At CharityBids, she knows the ins and outs of booking reservations, consignment package inclusions, and entertainment package details.
Shannon holds a diploma from George Brown College’s Tourism and Hospitality Management program. When she isn’t working, you’ll find Shannon cuddling with her cats, working her way through a cookbook, and exploring the world, She is passionate about human and animal rights, and enjoys volunteering in the community.
Daniel Weiner

Daniel started his career in the music business, where he quickly became adept at the inner workings of marketing, talent representation, and public relations. He has always sought out projects that align with his core values: family, connection and change.
Daniel produced the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and he consulted on several film and television projects including Get Him To The Greek, Funny People, and Pitch Perfect.
Daniel also orchestrated the marketing direction for Rebel Wilson x Angels plus-size clothing line launch that aimed to help plus-size girls feel empowered in their own skin. After spending 18-years in Los Angeles, Daniel returned to Toronto in February 2020, where he currently resides.
Gabi Shull

Born and raised in South Africa, Gabi has always held a special place in his heart for wildlife. At the age of 19, he moved to North America, where he earned his degree in Marketing, got married, and settled into the busy day-to-day life of work and family.
In 2018, Gabi launched a luxury travel company specializing in the African market. When travel came to a sudden halt due to the pandemic, Gabi joined the CharityBids team.
Since joining, Gabi has been involved in the production of dozens of virtual fundraisers, and is personally responsible for raising over $15M for the various charities he has worked with. He approaches each project with excitement and diligence, and takes tremendous pride in his work.

Mara has had a diverse range of professional work experience, from hospitality and operations to account management and event coordination, all with a proven track-record. At CharityBids, Mara’s role as a Reservations Specialist makes her the point of contact for anything reservation- or booking-related. She strives to go above and beyond to help curate personalized experiences at CharityBids that will prove to be unforgettable for clients of all backgrounds.
Those who know Mara professionally would describe her as a thorough yet competitive professional. She is a team player who is dedicated to success, and values fuels kindness and ethics in all that she does. For her work and dedication, Mara was recognized as one of Destinations International’s 2021 Top 30 Under 30 for young professionals to watch out for, and has been included among Professional Convention Management Association’s “20 in their Twenties” list in 2023 — awarded to positive role models who demonstrate leadership, challenge the status quo, and lead others to success in the Business Events industry.
Beyond her work, Mara is family-oriented, and finds balance by spending time with her loved ones. She is often the go-to friend for restaurant recommendations, and enjoys frequenting art galleries and concerts when she isn’t enthralled in a good book. Mara’s primary goal in life is to mentor others, and to inspire those around her to find their niche for success.
Hindy Ehrentreu

Hindy is a highly organized and detail-oriented team player with a wealth of experience in effective communication and community management. As a former media buyer in the entertainment industry, followed by her role as the director of a local community centre, Hindy excels in problem solving and building strong relationships. Her skills have been honed by working with diverse groups of people and cultures, preparing her for her current customer-facing role of reservations and bookings. At CharityBids, Hindy acts as a liaison between guests and booking specialists, ensuring their booking experience is as seamless as possible.
When she's not working, Hindy can be found cooking incredible dishes for her family, hosting meals and events for people in the community, or curled up outside on her hammock with a good book. Hindy is a skilled and accomplished chef, who not only graduated with a degree in advertising, but also successfully runs her own thriving food company.
Her dedication to food and entrepreneurship knows no bounds. To pursue her passions, Hindy courageously packed up her life, and moved across the world with her husband, three children, and dog, to embrace new cultures and opportunities. She takes great pride in her accomplishments, and continues to push herself to new heights in both her personal and professional pursuits.
