AUCTION CONSIGNMENT

  • Yes. The winner will have 12 months from the date of your auction to book their experience, unless the package includes an event that takes place on a specific date.

  • We accept cheques and wire transfers. Payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express) is subject to a processing fee.

  • A Consignment Price is the all-inclusive price at which we are able to offer a package to you. No additional fees are charged by CharityBids.

  • A Suggested Retail Price (SRP) is the estimated retail value of the package. This would be defined by the amount at which one could acquire this package entirely themselves, without charity consignment. If a package's SRP is listed as 'priceless', it likely contains a component that is otherwise inaccessible to the public (i.e. exclusive experiences, celebrity interactions, etc.) and cannot be quantified in dollar value.

  • We recommend that the opening bid be set 10-30% higher than the package’s Consignment Price to ensure that you are securing profit on the very first bid. Please keep in mind that certain packages, as confirmed by our team, can be sold multiple times at an event to maximize revenue. If you are working with an Auctioneer, we recommend consulting with them on pricing for your event.

  • Our catalogue is constantly changing, and we add and modify packages on an ongoing basis. Our newest packages are visible at the top of our catalogue's “All Experiences” page.

  • Of course! All of our packages are customizable. If you would like to customize a package, please let our team know. We will be happy to work with you to fulfill your unique needs.

EVENT PRODUCTION

  • We offer a full suite of event production services for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

    From pre-production and post-production to design, ideation, and creative development, we work with each unique client to ensure an incredible partnership from start to finish.

    We ensure your talent booking is well taken care of, and can tend to script writing, filming, location scouting, and more, depending on your goals and needs.

  • Based on our clients’ preferences, we can offer a full-service, one-stop-shop creative experience or more hands-off approach.

    Most often, we work with our clients to identify their distinct needs and goals, allowing us to determine the most appropriate type of event to accomplish them.

    In this process, we gain an understanding of our clients have done in past and an idea of their budget, to then identify strong opportunities for their specific case.

    Following, we collaborate with our clients to design, write, create, and produce all aspects of the event, leveraging our exclusive relationships with global talent to bring these ideas to life.

  • Both, and hybrid events, too! With recent years having shifted many events and gatherings to the virtual space, we’ve worked with industry-leading companies and individuals to create meaningful moments that last.

    Prior and during this shift, we’ve produced countless in-person events of all kinds. Whether for small, private groups or large crowds, we’ve helped our clients bring people together in incredible ways.

    The combination of in-person and virtual components also allowed us to produce hybrid events that merge the two.

    With our clients’ goals in mind, we are dedicated to pushing boundaries in the in-person, virtual, and hybrid event spaces.

  • While we do not take care of marketing our clients’ event in their entirety, when requested, we can work with our clients to create their event’s marketing assets, and to advise on developing a marketing strategy that is tailored to the specific goals at hand.

  • The more time the better, although no specific timeline is required. We’ve worked with all kinds of time frames, having produced events three years in advance in some cases, and having only had a couple of weeks notice in others.

    We always work with our clients to ensure the best possible outcomes and events given their timelines yet, with more notice, we are often able to elevate concepts even more.

  • For the majority of events, there’s no flat fee we charge to produce an event. As each event has different parameters and requirements from our team, fees vary.

    Typically, with an understanding our clients’ budgets, we include our fees within these respective budgets to ensure success.

    Depending on the scope of work, the fee structure will shift, but will always be discussed and agreed upon before the project begins.

  • In order to establish which talent we can book for our clients, we first gain an understanding of their mission, their purpose, their goals, and their budget. Following, we work with our clients to determine then talent options that will best fit their vision.

    Leveraging our exclusive relationships in the talent industry, we then fulfilling booking this talent for the event at the best possible price points for our clients.

  • We book talent for all types of events and projects: virtual events, corporate events, fundraising events, private events, launch events, digital campaigns, social media projects, and more.

    Whichever project you have in mind, whether it be in-person, hybrid, or virtual, we’ll take care of all of your talent booking needs.

  • With decades of experience, we’ve developed countless coveted relationships with A-list talent across the globe. Typically, when attempting to book talent through their agencies or representation, prices can be much higher.

    In leveraging our network, we ensure that our clients can take advantage of the best possible pricing. Our clients are generally able to access talent at discounted rates from their usual channels, in a way that is both quicker and more direct.

    For events, in the non-profit space, having notable talent be a part of an event will not only elevate its attendees’ levels of excitement and engagement, it will also often lead to heightened fundraising opportunities for your organization.

  • If you have specific talent in mind, we’ll do all that we can to secure them for your event - and most often, we succeed in doing so.

  • The more notice with talent booking, the better. It is important to note that talent booking must align with the talent’s schedule of availability, along with the client’s budget.

    Once the talent has been booked and confirmed, when requested, we then collaborate with our clients and talent to design, write, create, and produce all that will help them achieve these goals.

    Our level of involvement can vary from leading their involvement in the project to offering a more hands-off approach. This level of involvement is entirely based on our clients’ preferences.
